A professionally trained actor & dancer, Anika Xenides has taken the dance community by storm. Known for her exquisite dance styling,  Anika Xenides is a World Salsa Champion, Australian Salsa Champion & Salsa Solo Champion. A fierce competitor, sought after instructor and stylish performer, she attacks every dancing opportunity with passion and precision, in the true style of her dancing origins, Flamenco. As seen in her winning routine at the 2009 Australian Salsa Solo Competition, her ability to perform unaccompanied is an excellent example of her experience and dedication.

Training with some of the world’s best Flamenco companies including Flamenco Dance Areti and Elvira Andrew Ballet Nacional de Espana, has been a fervent foundation for her dancing career. Since 2008, Anika has been an invited guest examiner for Spanish dance at the Australian Ballet School. As a professional salsa dancer, she has performed, competed and choreographed for winning teams in all major competitions and congresses in Australia, including back-to-back wins at the Copacabana Salsa Competition and 1st place in the Tropicana Salsa Championships. In 2011 Anika became an Australian Salsa Champion at the Australian Salsa Open in the teams division, and then in 2012 went on to win the Hong Kong World Salsa Championships as part of the team Ritmo Sabroso. Anika continues to teach, perform and compete nationally and internationally.
