We are very excited to introduce local Melbourne talent - a collaboration of three of Australia’s leading female street Latin dancers and World Salsa Champions – Ebony, Laura & Anika.

 

This sassy trio has been dancing for over fifteen years and between them have won numerous World & Australian titles and established themselves as a dance force to be reckoned with.

Originally from Brisbane, Ebony has been performing in Latin shows and specializing in Brazilian styles such as zouk lambada and samba since she was fourteen. Laura has an extensive background in ballroom dancing and has competed in the world’s most prestigious ballroom competition in Blackpool, England. Anika started dancing in Adelaide, where she was a principal dancer in Areti’s Flamenco Company and has trained with some of the world’s best dancers. This dynamic trio of dancers have trained, performed, instructed and competed internationally at Latin festivals and congresses, establishing a name for themselves each in their own right.

In 2011 their paths crossed in Melbourne, and they instantly formed a bond and began to create together, each bringing their own unique style to the table. Only months after meeting they became Australian Salsa Champions as part of team Soy El Ritmo. They then went on to win the 2012 Hong Kong World Salsa Championships in the team division.
